Today, Resolute Forest Products Inc. announced that Yves Laflamme had been appointed the new president and chief executive officer of the company, as well as a member of its Board of Directors.
Laflamme, who most recently served as senior vice president, of wood products, global procurement and information technology, succeeds Richard C. Garneau, who is retiring from the company after a seven-year tenure as president and CEO.
Laflamme’s appointment is effective immediately.
