Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. appointed Ron Coughlin as its new chief executive officer, succeeding Brad Weston, who has served as CEO since February 2017.
Coughlin, an 11-year veteran of HP Inc., most recently served as president of HP’s personal systems business. Alex Cho, vice president and general manager of HP’s commercial PC business group, replaced Coughlin in that role on Wednesday.
Before joining HP in 2007, Coughlin worked at PepsiCo for 12 years, where he was chief marketing officer of PepsiCo International Beverages.
Coughlin, a consumer products and technology veteran, will begin in this new role as of Monday, June 18.
