Texas Instruments Incorporated announced that Brian Crutcher has stepped down as president and chief executive officer following violations of the company’s code of conduct related to his personal behavior; he also resigned his seat on the Board of Directors.

Chairman of the Board Richard “Rich” Templeton has been named to replace Crutcher in both president and CEO roles, in addition to retaining his chairman title. Templeton previously held the chairman, president and CEO positions from 2008 until early 2018, when Crutcher replaced him.

Templeton’s appointment is permanent, and the Company’s Board will not be searching for a replacement.
