Tyson Foods, Inc. announced today that Chief Executive Officer Tom Hayes is leaving the company due to personal reasons; Noel White was named as his replacement.

White, who joined Tyson following its acquisition of IBP in 2001, has served in various leadership roles during his more than 30-year career with the company.

Currently, White serves as group president of Beef, Pork, and international, a position he’s held since 2017.

White will assume his new position as president and CEO at the end of the month, at which time he will also join the Company’s Board of Directors.
