Snap Inc.’s CEO Evan Spiegel announced two new hires at Snap in prepared remarks for a quarterly earnings call. Jared Grusd, former CEO of the Huffington Post and global head of news and information at Oath, will join the company in early November as chief strategy officer. Jeremi Gorman, former head of global advertising sales at Amazon.com Inc., will arrive in mid-November as chief business officer.

Even as it lost users, Snap had a narrower-than-expected loss for the third quarter, posting almost $300 million in revenue for the quarter.
