Charles Adams has replaced Darren Parker as Sen. James Risch’s (R-ID) legislative director.
Adams joined the senator’s staff in 2011 and most recently served as deputy legislative director. He will continue to work on budget, defense, science, tax, technology, telecommunications, transportation and infrastructure issues in his new role.
Melanie Steele has been promoted to deputy legislative director; her former title was legislative counsel. She joined Sen. Risch’s staff in 2015 and previously served as Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers’ (R-WA, 5th) legislative director.
