Bipartisan public affairs firm Forbes Tate Partners announced the hires of Paul Dioguardi as a senior vice president and Nick Martin as a director.

Dioguardi previously served in the Obama Administration as director of intergovernmental and external affairs, managing relations between the Secretary of Health and Human Services, White House staff, state and local elected officials, and other non-governmental organizations. Dioguardi led efforts to implement the Affordable Care Act on the state level by working with the local governments. He was most recently founding partner of Confluence Strategies, an independent consulting firm.

As SVP, Dioguardi will oversee strategies for healthcare advocacy and other advocacy campaigns.

Martin also served in the Obama Administration as associate director of the Office of External and Intergovernmental Affairs, “where he focused on implementation of the ACA and the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) of 2015.” Martin assisted in crafting strategies for open enrollment, delivery system reform, and public health crisis. He was most recently the communications and outreach director for nonprofit healthcare firm Coalition to Transform Advanced Care (C-TAC).

As a director, Martin will manage strategic communications and public affairs campaigns.
