Former U.S. Senator and Governor of Indiana, Evan Bayh, joined Cozen O’Connor as of counsel and Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies, LLC, the firm’s government relations subsidiary, as a senior advisor.
In his political career, Bayh served as Indiana’s secretary of state from 1986 to 1980, governor from 1989-1976, and U.S. senator from 1999-2011. After retiring from the U.S. Senate, Bayh made an unsuccessful attempt to return to office in 2016, losing to U.S. Rep. Todd Young in the general election.
Bayh also serves on the board of directors for Marathon Petroleum Corporation, Berry Global Group, Inc., and Fifth Third Bancorp, as well as the board of trustees for RLJ Lodging Trust.
