CBS News announced that Margaret Brennan, current White House and foreign affairs correspondent, will become the host of “Face the Nation,” the network’s Sunday morning public affairs show.

Brennan will begin this new role on Sunday, February 25th, and will continue to report as senior foreign affairs correspondent from the Washington Bureau.

Brennan replaces John Dickerson, who left the program earlier this year to take on the anchor role for “CBS This Morning.”

Since joining CBS News in 2012, Brennan has covered the White House, the State Department, and foreign affairs issues.

Prior to CBS News, Brennan worked for Bloomberg Television as an anchor of their “InBusiness” program and for CNBC as a general assignment reporter.
