Laura McAleer
Notre Dame alumna Laura McAleer has been appointed the university’s new associate vice president of federal and Washington relations. Based in Washington, McAleer will be responsible for strengthening Notre Dame’s relationships with key federal constituencies.
Most recently Acting Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs, McAleer has spent the last 20 years in congressional and executive branch staff positions.
Her start date at Notre Dame is forthcoming.
