Equifax announced today that the Board of Directors has named Mark Begor as the company’s new chief executive officer as a member of the Equifax Board of Directors.

Begor joins Equifax from Warburg Pincus, where he serves as a managing director of industrial and business services Prior to that, he worked for 35 years at General Electric Company.

Mark Begor will begin his new role on April 16, 2018.

Begor replaces Interim CEO Paulino do Rego Barros, Jr., who will assist Begor throughout the transition before retiring in early 2019.

Begor currently served on the FICO Board of Directors and on the Boards of several Warburg Pincus portfolio companies, seats he will be resigning prior to his start date at Equifax.
