Lennar Corporation announced a series of changes in the executive positions at the company.
Chief Executive Officer Stuart Miller was appointed the executive chairman and will be succeeded by current President Rick Beckwitt. Beckwitt, who has served as the company’s president since 2011, has worked with Lennar for 12 years.
Jon Jaffe succeeds Beckwitt as president, and he will also continue in his role as the chief operating officer. Jaffe has worked at the company for more than 30 years.
Additionally, Chief Financial Officer Bruce Gross was named the new chief executive officer of Lennar Financial Services. Succeeding him in the position of chief financial officer is Diane Bessette, who will also continue as the company’s treasurer.
Beckwitt and Jaffe were also elected to the company’s Board of Directors.
