Tim Vargo
Exide Technologies, a global provider of stored electrical-energy solutions for the transportation and industrial markets, named board member Timothy Vargo as its president and CEO; he will retain the board position.
Until May 2017, Vargo was president and CEO of Kele Inc. He brings decades of experience in the automotive supply chain and process improvement, having been president and chief operating officer of AutoZone, among other roles.
Vargo replaces Vic Koelsch, who will remain as an advisor until Dec. 31.
