Senator-Elect Josh Hawley (R-MO) appointed two key staffers Wednesday.

Kyle Plotkin will be chief of staff. He previously worked for Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, and as a Republican campaign strategist before running Hawley’s Senate campaign this year.

Daniel Hartman will be Hawley’s state director. Hartman is currently Hawley’s chief of staff in the attorney general’s office, and he ran Hawley’s campaign for attorney general in 2016.

Hawley defeated incumbent Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) earlier this month. He will be sworn into the Senate in January.
