The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), a combat support agency led under the direction of DOD CIO Dana Deasy, has selected Jennifer Augustine as the organization’s new deputy chief information officer. The agency is composed of more than 8,000 military and civilian employees.
Augustine will report to David Bennett, director of operations and CIO. Before this, Augustine served in numerous DISA positions: technical director, Procurement Directorate; vice director, Manpower, Personnel and Security Directorate; deputy director, Workforce Management Directorate; and most recently as special assistant and congressional coordinator to DISA Executive Deputy Director Tony Montemarano.
Augustine earned a B.S. in business administration from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
