Kay Coles James, who previously worked as a senior advisor to President Trump during his transition into the White House, was named President at The Heritage Foundation, effective January 1, 2018. James is replacing Interim President Edwin J. Feulner, Jr. and will be the first African-American woman to lead the organization in its 44-year history.
