On January 22, 2018, The University of Arizona announced that Andrew Comrie has stepped down as senior vice president of academic affairs and provost, effective immediately.
Comrie, who has been at the UA since 1992, served as provost since July 2012.
Comrie will be replaced by Jeffrey B. Goldberg, currently dean of the College of Engineering, on or before March 5, 2018, with a search for a permanent replacement to follow.
