The Council on Foundations has announced the appointment of Kathleen P. Enright as their new president and chief executive officer.

For the past 17 years, Enright has been the president and chief executive officer of Grantmakers for Effective Organizations (GEO).
Prior to joining GEO, Enright served as the group director, marketing and communications for BoardSource.
Enright will begin her new role on March 5, 2019, and will replace Eugene W. “Gene” Cochrane, Jr. who has been the interim chief executive officer since the beginning of June.
