Dr. Robert Sackstein
Dr. Robert Sackstein was appointed the next dean of the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University, effective Jan. 2.
Sackstein is currently a professor of dermatology and medicine, as well as director of the Glycoscience Center, at Harvard Medical School.
He replaces founding dean Dr. John A. Rock. Sackstein will also be FIU’s senior vice president of health affairs.
