John Shelk

John E. Shelk, president and CEO of the Electric Power Supply Association, announced his retirement, effective in mid-2019.

Shelk, who is planning to leave Washington, will have led the association for 14 years when he steps down. He first came to the district four decades ago as a House floor page and returned as a Congressional staffer. Later, he worked in government affairs for both corporations and nonprofits prior to taking the lead at EPSA in June 2005.

Shelk will advise the board during the search for his successor.
