Prior to taking the helm of Leadership Connect, Michael served as President of The Deal and BoardEx. He transformed The Deal into a subscription-based, profitable information CRM and news service. Before leading The Deal, he worked as a Managing Director at Thomson Reuters, where he founded the Hedge Fund sales team and built it into the fastest growing group in North America. Michael graduated from Dalhousie University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Statistics and a MBA in Finance.

The platform replicates the way people use applications, tools and technology to carry out high volume/low complexity and low volume/high complexity work and delivers automation quickly, cost effectively and reliably and without replacement of systems, deployment of agents, software development or system integration.

Prior to founding Thoughtonomy, Terry spent a career in leadership of outsourcing, managed services and enterprise software businesses, holding senior roles with IBM and GE Capital, as a Director at European outsourcer Computacenter and as Managing Director of automation specialist IPsoft.

Ganesh Shenbagaraman

Director, Industry Cloud Solutions, Microsoft

Microsoft enables digital transformation in federal government with innovations in government cloud computing, intelligent cloud, and information security.

Ganesh Shenbagaraman is the Director of the Industry Cloud Solution group at Microsoft and loves helping organizations plan, optimize, and launch digital transformation initiatives. He has spent most of his career in the SaaS industry, gaining experiences in areas such as outcome based solution engineering, Robotic Process Automation, and AI and Distributed Ledger Technology.

Ganesh was previously Vice President, Global Public Sector, Education & Healthcare at Parature, where he helped promote the company’s brand in Federal, State, Education, Healthcare, and Association verticals. Microsoft acquired Parature in 2014.

John Hill

Assistant Commissioner, Financial Innovation and Transformation (FIT), Bureau of the Fiscal Service, U.S. Treasury Department

The FIT office identifies and promotes innovative solutions that will make federal financial management more efficient, transparent and customer-oriented.

John has held a variety of positions in the Fiscal Service since he joined in 2009. Previously, John served as the assistant commissioner for payments, responsible for the annual disbursement of over a billion Treasury payments. He has also been the assistant commissioner for government-wide accounting, responsible for Treasury’s financial statements and the accounting of the national debt.

After graduating from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government with an MPA in 1986, John began his federal career with Treasury’s departmental planning office. He then moved to U.S. Customs, where he served as director of systems development for the nation’s import processing system. From 2003 to 2009, John was executive vice president of Computech Incorporated.
