Match Group announced that Ariel Charytan has been named chief executive officer of OkCupid, effective immediately.
Charytan succeeds Elie Seidman, who left the position at the end of last year to become the chief executive officer of Tinder.
Charytan most recently worked for Audible, Inc., an Amazon company, serving first as vice president of product and UX from 2015-2017 and later serving as senior vice president from 2017-2018.
Prior to Amazon, Charytan was a co-founder and chief product officer at Oyster.com, which was acquired by TripAdvisor in 2013.
