Herman Miller, Inc. announced that President and Chief Executive Officer Brian C. Walker will retire from the company by August 31, 2018.
Walker will remain in his roles as president and CEO and as a member of the Board of Directors until the CEO Search Committee names his successor.
The search committee will help identify and evaluate internal and external candidates to lead the company, with the assistance of Brian Walker.
Walker is leaving after 29 years with Herman Miller, and after serving for 14 years as President and CEO.
