Koch Industries subsidiary Molex Incorporated announced that Martin P. Slark will retire as the chief executive officer in November 2018 after 42 years of service.

For 13 years, Slark has served as CEO of Molex, growing the company’s revenues and profits, along with almost doubling its number of global employees.

Slark, who was elected to the Koch Industries Board of Directors in 2017, will remain on the Board after his retirement.

The Company’s current President and COO Joe Nelligan will become the chief executive officer upon Slark’s departure.

A three-decade-long veteran of the company, Nelligan began his career as an intern in the Company’s Product Engineering Department.  In 1986, Nelligan joined Molex full-time and has held several roles in engineering, product management, and sales.

Nelligan was named vice president of product development and commercialization for the Global Commerical Products Division in 2009 and later promoted to senior vice president and president of the Global Commerical Products Division in 2013.

In 2016, Nelligan was named chief operating offer and added president to his title in 2017.
