Cardinal Health Inc. brought in Victor L. Crawford as CEO for its pharmaceutical segment. His appointment comes after Jon Giacomin left the same position to serve as chief executive for Cardinal’s medical segment.
Crawford, who is currently serving as the chief operating officer for healthcare, education, and facilities at Aramark Corp., will maintain overall responsibility for Cardinal’s pharmaceutical businesses, which include specialty solutions and nuclear and pharmaceutical distribution.
Crawford will join the company on November 12 and will report to Mike Kaufmann, who was named CEO of the healthcare services and products company in January.
