The Defense Information Systems Agency held a change of command ceremony on Thursday, February 1, as Navy Vice Adm. Nancy Norton replaced retiring Army Lt. Gen. Alan Lynn.
DISA, an agency located within the Department of Defense and headquartered at Fort Meade, Maryland, provides information technology support to military forces.
Immediately before becoming director of DISA, Norton served as its vice director.
Lynn officially retired from active duty on Friday, February 2, ending a military career that began in 1979.
