On January 31, 2018, the American Institute of Physics (AIP) announced that Michael H. Moloney has been named the new chief executive officer of the association, starting March 5, 2018.
Moloney’s appointment ends the search for a successor to former Chief Executive Officer Robert G.W. Brown, who retired last year after two years at the helm of AIP.
Chief Operating Officer Catherine A. “Cathy” O’Riordan and Chief Financial Officer Catherine “Gigi” Swartz, the current interim chief executive officers, will reassume their prior officer roles in March.
