The federal government works with 1,000,000 contractors. We used Leadership Connect to analyze tech contractor diversity over the last 5-years. The federal government only used 3,782 prime contractors for the all-important tech category of “Computer Systems Design”. This NAICS code [541512] comprises 50% of tech spend. When you look at contractors who average more than 10 awards per year, there are only 63 total companies!
